The Standing Rock Pipeline, the History of the Girl Scouts and Remembering Juan Gabriel by WBEZ’s Worldview

On Saturday, security guards for the Dakota Access pipeline company discharged dogs and pepper spray on a group of Native American protesters attempting to block construction of a pipeline in North Dakota. The demonstrators claim it will cause catastrophic environmental damage to their lands and drinking water. Also, part two of our look at the history of the scouting movement. Today: Girl Scouts.
